Whether you are a Christian of long standing, a new believer, or someone who is far from sure about the value of organised religion, you are most warmly welcomed to join in the Pilgrim course we shall be holding in the autumn.

Six Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm to 9pm, reading, thinking about and discussing the Beatitudes – that part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew’s Gospel, where each sentence starts with the words “Blessed are…” (Beata in Latin, hence Beatitudes); blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are the meek, blessed are the peacemakers…….and so on. (Fans of The Life of Brian might know a slightly different version!)

The course was co-written by our new Bishop Steven Croft, and we shall start looking at this interesting text on Wednesday September 21st. Venue tbc but probably Tadmarton. Again, you are ALL warmly welcome to attend – and we can arrange a lift if necessary.
