Baptism or Christening

What a wonderful moment in a new baby's life, and a wonderful time in a Family's life - when the baby is welcomed into the fellowship of the Church and starts a journey with Christ which will last a lifetime. What better reason for a Family Party!

I, and members of the congregation, are pleased to talk to you about what baptism means, so please don't hesitate to ask. We'll gently and carefully go through all the arrangements and the service too so you know exactly what you are doing.

If you're not sure that you want to make that depth of commitment for your new baby you might prefer to opt for the "thanksgiving for the birth of a child" service. Again, don't hesitate to ask.

The congregation love it when a baby is baptised on a Sunday morning when they're all there to welcome them, but I understand that 9.30am might not always be the most convenient time! We'll do our very best to accommodate your wishes.

Hey......I've said "baby"....but there's no reason at all why older children, teenagers, adults, MUCH older people shouldn't be Baptised. Often an older person really wants to make a commitment, so this might be part of your journey to Confirmation.

Please ASK - for your baby, your child, your teenager, YOURself! My contact details are here.
