The Kyiv Classic Accordion Duo are two professional musicians from the Ukraine who have visited the UK for the past 7 or 8 maybe even 9 summers. They will be performing in Swalcliffe Church at 7.30pm on Tuesday 23rd July.

They play the most wonderful music - really amazing technique and also great fun. They fund their own visits and raise money for the now young adult victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster - these young people no longer have any "Aaah" factor but still do have great needs. Igor and Oleksiy are splendid fellows ... and I would now consider them friends. They played at my churches in Herne Bay for 5 or 6 years and now I have invited them to this Benefice.

There will be no charge for their concert, but a retiring collection. Maybe a pleasant drink at half time or the end - they usually play for an hour. They will have CDs available at £10.
