A word from Broughton with North Newington

On November 3rd the Broughton Friendship Club were given a talk on the RNLI. This was a most interesting and entertaining afternoon; it spelt out how very brave these volunteers are. Would you believe they only receive a paltry £4.50p for putting their lives at risk to keep us safe. Many thanks to Roger for this eye opening insight into the History of the RNLI from its early origins to the present day.

There will be many choices of services over the Christmas period including the Carol service, the ever popular Crib service at which the children help to build the crib during the Christmas story and of course on Christmas Day; we do hope that you are able to attend one or more of them.

On behalf of all of us we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year
