April news

Both Good Friday and Ester Sunday services were well attended and many positive comments have been received. The Easter Egg hunt on Easter Day proved to be a hit with the children; needless to say, ALL the eggs were found!

The APCM took place in St Mary’s House on April 8th. Neil Howarth & Andrew Taylor were elected as Church Wardens, and the PCC and its Officers re-elected en bloc.

The Gardening Club met in St Mary’s House on April 10th. The speaker was Mrs Copley and her subject “Climbing Plants and Shrubs” - a most informative and entertaining evening. The Club’s next meeting will be on FRIDAY 31st May when there will be a trip to the Wyevale Garden Centre at Bicester.

At the next Friendship Club meeting on May 7th there will be a speaker whose subject will be Neighbourhood Watch.
