Epwell news

It was wonderful to have so many people visiting the church over the festive period for a variety of occasions. Thank you to the Wingfield-Digby family who kindly donated the Christmas tree and to Jo Hawkins and members of EGG for their stunning flower arrangements. Instead of the traditional Christingle service Ronald entertained and informed with stories about St Nicholas, the real Santa Claus, and everyone enjoyed the eyeballs, pickled boys and stockings filled with gold coins. On Christmas Eve the church was filled first with families watching the Nativity and then later, carol singers gathered around the tree. The Christmas Day service, which was taken by Liz Hawkes was well attended and the PCC would like to wish everyone in the village a Happy New Year.

Our Mothers Day service takes place on Sunday 26th March at 10.00am. Please come along and help us celebrate and give thanks, with the promise of flower posies for mums and chocolate cake for everyone else.
