Epwell news

Thank you to everyone who came and joined in the Harvest Festival celebrations back in October. The church was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements by Clare Lee and members of EGG, and the gifts of fruit, vegetables, cakes and groceries were auctioned by the Rector after the supper. Thanks to some extremely generous bidding by those attending £171 was donated to the Banbury Young Homeless Project. As always a big Thank you goes to Julia Neal and Lin Iddon who provided everyone with a hearty home cooked meal.

Come and find out everything you ever wanted to know about the real Santa Claus at our family St Nicholas Service which will be held at 5pm on Sunday 10th December. Stay and join us afterwards for mince pies and a glass of wine.

The children will be presenting the Nativity play on Christmas Eve at 6pm and later that evening, when the costumes and stage have been packed away, there will be Carols around the tree at 9.30pm.

There is a Midnight Communion service at Sibford at 11.30pm and in Epwell the Christmas Day service, taken by Ronald, will begin at 9.30am.

St Anne’s PCC would like to thank everyone for supporting the church throughout the year in so many different ways and wish you all a very Happy Christmas.
