It was wonderful to have so many people visiting the church over the festive period for a variety of occasions. Thank you to the Wingfield-Digby family who kindly donated the Christmas tree and to Jo Hawkins and Suzanne Kaye for the beautiful flower arrangements. Unfortunately the St Nicholas service had to be cancelled because of the snowy conditions, but on Christmas Eve the church was filled first with families watching the Nativity and later with villagers who gathered to sing traditional carols. The Christmas Day service, which was taken by Ronald Hawkes, was well attended. The PCC would like to wish everyone in the village a Happy New Year.
On Mothering Sunday, 11th March, our Mothers Day service is at 10.00am. Please come along and help us celebrate and give thanks, with the promise of flower posies for mums and chocolate cake for everyone.
