The Summer Festival was a great social and financial success raising more than £6000. As usual, village residents were generous with their donations and support. Special thanks to the organising committee and Sir Dominic and Lady Cadbury for the use of the Manor Field. Funds received from the Festival plus pledges from residents has meant that the planned Village Hall rebuild can start in September.

Sue Roe-French is hosting a coffee morning at her Dairyground home on 20th August: there are sure to be excellent cakes and of course good company.

Church attendance over the summer has been maintained with a full church for weddings. We also had a Songs of Praise at the end of July with refreshments in church afterwards.
