The PCC met on 23rd January to review activities during 2017 and accepted the annual accounts and report. The Annual Parochial Church Meeting, to elect churchwardens and a new PCC, will be held in the village hall at 7.30pm on 19th March.
 
Helen Hodgkins Trust is our Lent Jars of Change charity this year. If you are giving up chocolate and the like to mark the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert, take a few moments to think of those less fortunate and put a few coins in a jar each day and donate to charity after Easter.

Our charity for Shutford`s Lent Lunch on Monday, 26th March is Katharine House Hospice: we are grateful for the support they give to many of our village residents and families.
 
Luci and Tom were married in St Martin`s church on 17th February – we wish them every happiness during their married life.
 
A weekly pop-in lunch is available each Thursday in Shutford Village Hall from 12.30-2.00pm – everyone is welcome – good company and food guaranteed.
