Thursday lunches are held at 12.30pm in Shutford Village Hall and anyone from across the benefice can attend: church members host a lunch every other month.

The churchyard is looking good with plenty of wild flowers coming into bloom and various lilac bushes in full flower. The swallows have returned to the church porch. The church and churchyard are ideal places for some quiet time.

It will be a busy month in Shutford in June with the Benefice service on the 3rd at 10.00am, Messy Church in the village hall at 4.00pm on the 16th and Shutford Festival in the Manor Field from 1.00pm on the 23rd. We look forward to welcoming our friends from across the Benefice for all these events: there will be fellowship and refreshments at all of them!
