The Archdeacon of Dorchester came to the Benefice Eucharist on March 1st, and we had to decamp to the Hall because the central heating had failed. What a treat to have over 75 people gathered around the table, in a very warm hall, with excellent music from the choir, and a stirring sermon from the archdeacon – The Ven Judy French, not only the first ever Archdeacon of Dorchester, but also the third woman Archdeacon in our diocese; we only need a woman bishop now to complete the set!

The Coffee Mornings have re-commenced; the first was on March 21st and the next will be on April 25th from 10.30am – you are ALL always welcome.

The Primary School came to church for their Easter production – some lovely songs and poems, including the hugely popular “Spring Chicken”.

We share worship with our Methodist friends on April 12th at 1am.

The APCM will be in church on Thursday April 23rd at 7.30pm
