Sibford's Selection

Saturday June 11th at 6.30pm: the Chapel Choir of Worcester College Oxford present a concert I was glad featuring music sung at HM Queen’s coronation as well as other regal, and fun pieces. All are welcome.

Saturday June 18th, 10am -12noon in Church: a Coffee Morning, with the usual Bring & Buy stall, a Raffle, and a chance to “put the world to rights”.

Sunday June 26th at Parson’s Barn Farm Bungalow on the road to Shutford: Sue Tompkins will be hosting a Garden Party, with Afternoon Tea, some simple games, maybe a Horse Ride, and the chance to see the new-born foal – it is due about a week before. All are warmly invited any time between 3pm and 4.30pm.

July 9th another Coffee Morning: this time in Barley Close at the home of John and Petra Berry, and again you are all most warmly welcomed.

Christian Aid Week was launched in style with an ecumenical service on May 14th, involving Anglicans, Quakers, Roman Catholics and Methodists. The preacher was Michael Goodwin – and we wish him and his family God Speed as he looks towards a less stressful time in Norfolk.
