Another splendid Harvest Supper was held in the Village Hall on October 19th with every seat filled, and a gourmet supper enjoyed by all. Wonderful meat from the local farmers, a hint of the good ol’ US of A in sweet potato casserole and pumpkin pie, desserts to die for, and then cheese too! Wow!

We are looking forward to our Community Carol Singing on Monday December 23rd when we shall walk from the Village Hall to The Tithings, Park Lane and back to the Pub.

Welcome to Stamatis and Faith and their boys John and Tim, the new folk at the Stag’s Head, and thanks for agreeing to host the conclusion of the Carol Sing. It was a great joy to have them and their family in church on Oct 20th to celebrate their Silver Wedding, to reaffirm their vows, and to wear once again the crowns they had worn 25 years ago in their Greek Orthodox Wedding Ceremony.
