14 of us gathered in the Easter morning gloom, enjoying sparkling birdsong, for the wonderful bonfire and Easter Ceremonies. The best service of the year – and the church glorious with flowers and candles, and filled with scent too.

The Alyth Chamber Choir were SUPERB; giving us a wonderful journey through all sorts of Jewish music, and raising £500 for Katharine House. If you missed them this time, look out for a return visit. The Lent Lunch organised by Barbara and Victoria Taylor raised a further £70 for the hospice.

The Cello Pilgrimage: Orlando Jopling will be coming to Swalcliffe on the weekend of 7th/8th November, please make a note in your diaries. This is likely to be hugely popular. More details and the actual date and time will be given in the next Benefice News.
