Messy Church on Saturday 4th October 2014 will be held in The Village hall for parents and children of The Benefice. Our thanks are given to Mrs Jennifer Brown and Mrs Shirley Wackrill for their organisation of the event and all their helpers.

The Harvest Supper will be held in the Village Hall after the 6pm service in the church on Sunday 12th October. Ticket entry only and tickets at £6 will be available from Mrs S Wackrill, Mr C N Dean and Council members.

Saturday 1st November at 6.30pm for 7pm a Pudding Club will take place in the Village Hall. The menu will include soup and bread followed by Twelve Puddings to try! Tickets are £7.50pp, half price for Children.

The Christmas Craft Fair will be held in The Village Hall 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 15th November 2014. All contributions of Bric a Brac, Festive Cards and various cakes etc will be most welcome (please contact Mrs Shirley Wackrill and Mrs Jennifer Brown). If you have a special photo you would like made into a greetings card bring it along on a memory card, memory stick, disc or print on the 15th November.

The Parochial Church Council met on Monday 1st September. The heating of the church is still ongoing and we hope that progress will be made before the really cold weather sets in.

The Sponsored Walk held on Saturday 9th August and Mr J Salethorn’s Magnificent Swimathon has raised over £1437.00 (before Gift Aid). Thanks are given to all sponsors.

On Sunday 7th December at 4.30pm a St Nicholas Tide service will be held in the Church and a collection taken for The Children’s Society.

The Carol Service will be held in the church on Tuesday 16th December at 7pm.

Watch out for Cottage Crafts on Saturday October 25th in Taddy Village Hall.
