Saturday 1st November the Pudding Club met in the Village Hall, sixty plus members present. The menu included soup and bread (courtesy of John Salethorn) followed by a choice of Twelve Puddings. The evening was enjoyed by everyone and the roll up for the bottles of scotch and wine was won by Mrs. Jill Judd. The proceeds of over £480 will be divided between the Church and the Village Hall. We offer our big thanks to all the ladies and gentlemen who made the evening such a success. We may hold the event again next year, a night not to be missed!

The pre-Christmas Bazaar was held in the Village Hall and the profit raised was £727. The event was well attended and our thanks go to all who made the event a great success. The stalls offered Bric a Brac, Festive Cards, Plants, a Craft Stall and various cakes for sale. Christmas cards were prepared from photos, memory sticks and cards.

The Parish Church Council met on Monday 3rd November 2014. The heating of the church is still ongoing and progress is being made, hopefully work will commence in early December.

On Sunday 7th December at 4.30pm a St Nicholas Tide service will be held in the Church and a collection taken for The Children’s Society.

The traditional Carol Service will be held in the church on Tuesday 16th December at 7.00pm.
