Tadmarton news

The Harvest Festival and Benefice Service held in the Church on Sunday 6th October was very well attended. The Church was beautifully decorated and a full church made the thanksgiving all the more festive. Polly Preedy gave a talk, about her work with the provision of food and clothing and much more, to people in Banbury who have nothing. The collection was donated to her work in the Banbury Parish. The total collected was £270 and that sum was donated thanks to the generosity of the congregation.

The Church Council met on Wednesday 25th September. It was agreed to hold The Scarecrow Festival in 2020 commencing 11th July and ending with a concert in The Church on Saturday 25th July. There are more event dates for a Summer Cream Tea on Sunday 28th June and a Spring Auction of Promises in 2020. The Council also recorded thanks to Mr J. Salethorn for donating a replacement cruet set for use in the communion service. We are still waiting for news from the DAC for refurbishment of the kitchen.
