The Council Members attended The Benefice council at Sibford on the 30th January. Matters discussed included:

1. Arrangements for Holy Week Services in the six churches of the Benefice
2. A Messy Church for families in Swalcliffe on Good Friday - March 29th
3. The possibility of setting up a Youth Group for teenagers in one of the Parishes
4. The future of The Wykeham News
5. The Benefice Website
6. Opportunities for trainee Bell ringers (Anyone interested, please contact 780 698).

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday July 10th.

The Village Services have been well attended by Parishioners; fun and participation has been the theme of these services. Come and join with us, you will be sure of a welcome and fellowship.

Our Tuesday morning Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) takes place in the church at 10.00am followed by tea/coffee and biscuits served in The Lampet Arms.

The Lent Group meets later at 11.00am until 12 noon in The Village hall on February 26th and March 5th, 12th and 19th.
