The PCC met on Monday 18th March. Matters discussed included:

1. Services: There will be a Pet service on Sunday April 28th at 11.00am; this will be followed by the APCM. A special Bereavement service, to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us, will be on Sunday May 19th at 4pm. Refreshments will be served after the service.
2. The Lent Lunch was held in the village hall on Monday 3rd March. Soup and cheeses were enjoyed by all attending and our thanks go to the ladies who prepared our lunch and John for the tasty bread. Donations for the Children of Syria Appeal by UNICEF amounted to over £200.
3. The fabric of the church and its insurance were discussed, and in view of the escalating costs of this protection.
4. The accounts for presentation to the AGM were approved. The Council’s thanks were recorded to the Treasurer Mr. John Steele.
5. The Fund Raising committee has some great ideas. Watch this Space!
