On Sunday 30th Oct there will be a Taizé inspired worship in the church at 6.00pm.The Taizé community, originating in the French village of Taizé, is an ecumenical monastic order who have a strong devotion to peace and justice though prayer and music.

This year the celebration of Harvest will take place on Friday 7th October. There will be a short, informal service with traditional hymns in the Church at 7pm, followed by a supper in the Village Hall. More information will be circulated nearer the time.

During 2016 Church Farm Field has been open to the public under the National Gardens Scheme on three occasions. The total money raised for the year was £190 for the NGS from entry fees and £155 from the sale of teas for the church.

There was a Sponsored Walk on Sunday 14th August 2016; a strong band of walkers turned out. The total collected was over £1200, a magnificent sum. Our thanks are given to Chris Dean and all who took part.

The Pudding Club will meet on Saturday 22nd October in the Village Hall. Tickets are available from Shirley or John Wilson. Ticket numbers are limited so do not delay as this is a very popular event.
