The AGM of St Nicholas Church was held on Tuesday 26th April after the morning service. The Churchwardens Mr C.N. Dean and Mr J.S. Whitney were elected to serve for the 2016/17 year. The Annual report was approved by those present (copies available upon request to The Secretary). The council members elected were Mr J. Salethorn, Mr R. Asser, Mrs. J. Brown, Mrs. S. Wackrill, Mrs. L. Smith, Mrs. L. Hillman and the Church Wardens. The Chairman is The Rector Revd R. Hawkes and the Secretary Mr. J Wilson. The Chairman gave a vote of thanks to Mr. J. Steele for his dedicated service as The Church Treasurer over a period of several years. His stewardship has been of considerable, significant, benefit to this church.

The Annual Cream Tea will be held on the afternoon of Sunday 31st July, by kind permission of Dr and Mrs. R. Smith at 4 Old Glebe, Tadmarton.

The Village Scarecrow competition will be held in the village from Saturday 2nd July to Saturday 16th July. Three prizes will be awarded to the best Scarecrows. The winners will be announced at the Concert to be held in The Church on the evening of Saturday 16th, 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Tickets for this are available from Mrs. Shirley Wackrill (780 596) @ £10, Children FREE. Tickets include a glass of wine and light refreshments.

The Pudding Club will be held on Saturday 22nd October in The Village Hall.
