Please will YOU be a Friend to St Martin’s and help us raise much needed funds for the upkeep of the building and the church-yard? I bet in your loft, garage, or cupboard under the stairs you’ve got various good quality items that you really do not want or need, and just haven’t got round to disposing of.

Why not offer them for sale in our Silent Auction? You could donate the proceeds, or part thereof, to St Martin’s. Come and enjoy a coffee, cruise the Lots, maybe place a bid, and watch others bid for your item or promise.

We’d love to have ... bric-brac, pictures, glass ware, antiques, curios, small items of furniture, clothing, baby and children’s items, sports equipment ... really anything at all as long as it is new, nearly new, or in very good condition.

If you prefer you could offer a Promise ... a home-made Cake, an evening’s Baby-Sitting, a Cream Tea in your garden, an hour’s Gardening, some Housework, a basket of Ironing, Dog-Sitting for a day, etc.

Items and promises can be brought to the Hall from 9am on the day; the Silent Auction starts at 10.30am and concludes promptly at 11.30am.

Items for auction may be brought to church as soon as you like. Payment on the day by cash or cheque please.
