On Tuesday May 3rd the Broughton Friendship Club welcomes Mr John Giddings to talk on "His war" in the Far East. Everyone is welcome at this meeting. A donation will go to the Burma star association. John is a former Mayor of Banbury.

Last month’s “church window” was at Broughton church. If you had good eyesight you could pick out St Peter – usually depicted holding a bunch of keys, the keys of Heaven, our St Peter is holding an extremely large fish, to remind him that he was called to become a fisher of men, and to remind him also of that resurrection appearance by the Sea of Tiberias where the disciples, after a wasted night’s fishing, caught 153 large fish when they followed Jesus’ command.
