The Harvest Festival Service followed by a bring and share tea held on September 25th at 3pm was really well supported with 57 adults and 6 children. The service was taken by our Rector Ronald. The choir sang an anthem which received good comments and our thanks go to Jim Wilson for his guidance.

On October 4th in St. Mary's House the Friendship Club met and were entertained by Peter Reid who spoke about Portsmouth Docks during the Second World War and later on his work in the Drawing office in the Dockyard.

The Christmas Bazaar is on November 19th in St. Mary's House from 2-4pm. St. Mary's House will be open from 10am to receive donations.

Perhaps you wondered why the bells were ringing on a Monday evening? We were delighted to welcome the Beavers with their leader Jon Poulton and several adult minders complete with whips and chairs! 12 little boys and 1 little girl swarmed around the church, played the organ, rang the bells, declaimed from the pulpit, read from the lectern, admired the “real” knight’s helmet and gloves, and found skulls and cross bones on the table tombs. We then lit candles and said prayers.
