The Good Friday service held in Broughton church was not very well attended- in fact the choir almost out-numbered the congregation. The service itself was as usual most thought provoking and moving.

The Easter Day service was well attended with joyful hymns and afterwards an Easter egg hunt for the young people.

We are very sad to say that our much loved choir master Mr Jim Wilson after many years of bringing to the church so much lovely music, and stretching the choir to new heights has resigned. Thank you Jim, you will be missed.

The 7th Banbury Scouts joined us in Church on 22nd April for their St George’s Day service, the theme being “Do your best”.
