We held our Harvest Festival service on September 29th. This was a bring & share tea occasion and was very well attended. The service was taken by Ronald and all enjoyed singing the popular Harvest hymns. The choir sang an anthem.

The Broughton Friendship Club met on Tuesday October 1st in St Mary’s House where they enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon talking and exchanging views on numerous subjects together over a cuppa, plus we celebrated a Birthday and enjoyed a piece of cake. The next meeting will be on Tuesday November 5th at 2.30pm. Come and join us.

The PCC met in St Mary’s House on October 8th to discuss the concert which will be performed by New College Chapel Choir at Broughton church on November 23rd at 6.30pm. This is a Benefice occasion.

On Wednesday the 9th of October the Short Mat Bowls started again in St Mary’s House. Next on Wednesday 9th November at 2pm and 7pm.

The Christmas Bazaar will be on Saturday 7th December from 2pm to 4pm, at St Mary's House.
