A successful Lent Lunch was held in Shutford on 14th April raising £265 for Maggie's in Oxford. 32 people from across the benefice supported the lunch and enjoyed the home made soup, bread and other goodies. Thanks to everyone involved.

Christian Aid Week 2014 is 11th - 17th May and a door to door collection will take place in Shutford. Please look out for the distinctive red envelopes. For a growing number of people across the world, the horror of war is part of daily life. Christian Aid through the generosity of their supporters hopes to give people a future without fear. War tears lives apart: help to put them back together.

There will be a Beetle Drive in Shutford Village Hall at 6.00pm on 10th May raising funds for the church. This will be a family occasion with refreshments.

A coffee morning at 10.30am is planned for the following Saturday, 17th May at Barton Barn, Church Lane. Everyone is welcome.
