Over 100 people came to the Sibford 175 Birthday Party in the Primary School. There was wonderful cake baked by Jean Dunkley, amazing Fizz provided by Peter Hardman, and roses and chocolate oranges given by Kathy Yorke. The School Choir sang wonderfully and the Sibford Songbirds were superb – both choirs under the direction of Keith Allen, to whom huge thanks. On the Sunday evening there was sunlit Choral Evensong and instead of a sermon we had reminiscences of a Sibford childhood from Evey Boughton. The amazing display about the church provided by Keith and Maureen Hicks is still by the font – so DO go and have a look.
