The Sibford Songbirds are singing at the Lights, Camera, Action event on 13th July at Leasowe House and apparently really want more people to join them for the event. Light music - I think Mamma Mia is on the menu and similar songs! There's a rehearsal every Wednesday at 8pm in the small village hall if anyone is interested......could be fun!

The Kiev Classic Accordion Duo will be performing in church on Tuesday 16 July at 7.30pm. Igor and Oleksiy are first rate professional musicians from Ukraine, and they play a variety of styles of music - classics for accordion, classical arrangements (including in the past Widor's Toccata, Elgar's Nimrod etc) and Russian and Ukrainian Folk pieces. Refreshments available. No charge but a Retiring Collection which goes to a Ukrainian charity caring for the now adult victims of Chernobyl.
