March news

Alan Perry and a somewhat ham-fisted assistant have managed to repair the “missing” pedal on the organ, with considerable assistance from Ray who watched us struggling. Thanks gents!

Have you been to see the churchyard at the back? So clear (relatively) and tidy, and stone-walled, and looking as if it is loved. Hurrah!

The APCM was held on Palm Sunday after the procession of palms in Epwell.

We have the faculty for the kitchen and loo project and – roll of drums – will start the work very soon. Enormous thanks to Stuart Ralph for his dogged determination in progressing this project.

On April 18th the Alyth Choir from the NW Reform Synagogue in London will be coming to church at 6pm to sing. Please do support this event if you possibly can. To have a Jewish choir singing in a Christian church, listened to by people of all faiths and none will be a very important way of sending a significant message in these troubled times. Funds for Katherine House. Everyone from Anywhere is warmly invited to attend.
