A big thank you to Chris and Jeff Demarr who held a coffee morning on Saturday 5th Dec where they sold all the potted-up hyacinths that had been prepared for the cancelled Christmas Bazaar. The morning was a huge success and raised £318 for church funds. Thank you to all helpers, cake makers and to everyone who attended.

The asbestos clearance in the cellar under the boiler room of the church was completed on 11th December just in time for preparations to take place for Katriona MacGregor's wedding to Ed Jones on the 19th. Thanks to them we had a beautifully decorated church with all the wedding flowers remaining and together with the Christmas tree and nativity scene the church looked wonderful for our seasonal celebrations.

The builders returned on 4th January to complete the loo and servery so, fingers crossed, work should be finished by the end of the month.

A further huge Thank you to Gay and Colin and Alan who masterminded the amazing Dec 23rd Christmas Carol Sing and Nativity Service. What great fun we all had.
