Swalcliffe news

Thank you for the tremendous support for the Alfresco dinner held in July to all those people who attended and contributed to a very successful evening held at Abingdon House by kind invitation of John and Madeleine Tattersall. Due to the poor weather the delicious meal kindly donated was held indoors and dancing to Pete Watkins continued well into the night! Everyone arrived wearing a mad hat following the theme of the Mad Hatters Supper Party. A sum of just over £833 was raised for the continued maintenance of the church.

Harvest Supper: Saturday 19 October 7pm, Village Hall. Licensed Bar and Raffle. A great evening to meet up with neighbours and friends. This will take the form of a carvery provided by our local farmers plus sensational sides and delicious homemade desserts! Tickets £15 each now available on line at www.swalcliffe.org or by contacting Gay or Virginia.
