Tadmarton news

The Remembrance service held on Sunday 10th November was attended by many members of this parish. Crosses were laid at the War Memorial by families of the village to commemorate those servicemen who did not return from the wars. The service was led by The Rev’d Dr David Pym. We are grateful to Jim Millar for his playing of the bagpipes at the memorial. The collection from the service £151.10 is donated to the Royal British Legion Appeal.

Christingle Service, December 8th at 4pm in the Church: This is mainly for the children, of all ages! Refreshments will be served at the end of the service.

Traditional Carol Service, Tuesday 17th December at 7pm in the Church. We shall have carols for all to sing.

The services for the next two months are detailed on the Church notice Board and in both the Wykeham News and The Link. The Church Council wishes all members of the Parish “A very Peaceful and enjoyable festive season and a Good New Year for everyone”. We hope that you will join us in St. Nicholas church during the Christmas period and you will be most welcome.

The villagers of Tadmarton will be sad when our Rector Ronald Hawkes and the Reverend Liz Hawkes, leave the Benefice in January 2020, for pastures new in Yorkshire. We are so appreciative of all the services and ministry they have given to this Parish and they will always be welcome in Tadmarton, we shall all miss them very much.
